Bombo Cliff Dinner

This year started off beautifully, I was camping with Mo and we spent a few weeks driving around in our van, stopping anywhere we wanted, for as long as we wanted. Nothing much has changed, we are still traveling as much as we can, because what could be more beautiful than being on the road and exploring this beautiful country. I'm so happy I met someone who has the same dreams as me and we share all the magic moments together. Here is one evening we spent at Bombo Cliffs and Mo cooked the most delicious dinner for us.

Bombo is a really interesting place to stop at. We spent a few days camping there, surfed every morning and evening and climbed the amazing cliff formations. It's definitely worth exploring if you haven't been there.

It was so romantic to cook dinner on the edge of the cliff, watching the sunset and cuddling while it was cooking. <3

There was a lot, but we nearly ate it all in one go. It was so good :)

I took way too many pictures of those cliffs, but they are so beautiful! I will definitely go back there and take some more... I just can't get enough.

I will try to post more posts here, but for now I created a hash tag on instagram #travelingwithmo and you can follow our journeys online, by searching for it or simply following my page @liya_mira

Magical German Forest

I recently came back from my travels around Europe so now I have many beautiful photographs and memories to share with everyone. Majority of the time we spent in Germany, because that's where my Moritz is from. I was very lucky because I got to meet and stay with locals, which meant I didn't visit too many touristy places and instead saw the beautiful, natural side of Germany.

Mo's family lives in Coasfeld, which is a small town on the western side of Germany, not far from the Netherlands' border. It's very quiet there but it's perfect if you want to get away from big, touristy cities. We rode bikes down to the shops and the parks. Mo took me around and showed me all the beautiful lakes and forests that he used to run around when he was little. It was very magical to see it all and imagine how it was for him growing up there.

One evening, Mo's brother, Johny was around and he invited us to come mushroom picking with him. He took us to a very beautiful forest and even though we didn't find any mushrooms because it wasn't really the season, it was one of the most unforgettable walks from our time there. The sun was setting and  the forest was truly alive. I walked around with my mouth open and my camera clicking .

Sunset for me has always been the most beautiful time of the day and it never stops to amaze me.

Here is Mo with a gorgeous feather he found, it ended up in my hair and I felt like a little forest bird for a little while. The sun made it glow and I was very happy!

I told you I was very happy.

Here is another one of my glowing feather, the sun was setting really fast so this was the last photograph of it. I think Mo was glad, because I would have asked for more, but can you blame me with that beautiful sun light? :)

Just as I started thinking this walk couldn't get any better, Johny suggested we go to a lake and watch the rest of the sun set there. Sounds amazing we all thought and so we went.

Yes, it is a very beautiful and peaceful place. I am so lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful people, and those few hours will always remain in my memory. Thanks boys :) xx

Pure Love.

I don't often photograph newborns. I have to admit I find it very hard and time consuming. You can type in "newborn photography" in Google and find all those beautiful pictures of sleeping babies and they all look so adorable, smiling and dreaming away and people think it's so easy to capture those moments. It's really not. I take my hat off to those photographers who do it for a living. To capture that one image it often takes hours of sweating in a boiling room. Yes newborns have to feel comfortable to fall asleep and for the photographer it means literally waterfalls running down their face and if that's not happening it clearly isn't warm enough. Babies also cry, I'm sure we all know that, but nobody wants all the photographs from the shoot to be like that, maybe one, but not all of them. And you can't just tell a baby to keep quiet for a few minutes while you're taking a photo. So it often means you're sitting there for hours and hours waiting to get that one shot. They get hungry, then they need to let all the food out( I won't go into that ). Then when they finally decide to have a little rest, you take your few shots and of-course after that you need to change the child and try and put them in a different position, yes try, it doesn't always work and it starts all over again. But every so often I do look at those newborn photographers' images and want some of those for myself. I love them so much, kids are so beautiful and everything that happens during the shoot is so natural and so pure, there is no faking with them and that's very important to me in any style of photography. And of-course when you finally get the images you want, you know that all those hours were definitely worth it and parents will have a little memory of that one special moment.

She was less than two weeks when I came over to their place, and a month before that I photographed her beautiful mum, you can see the images here , part 2 of that shoot is coming very soon.

Little angel wrapped inside mother's hands. What could be more beautiful.

Thank you girls, you were a great team! Lot's of love. xo

Summer love & camping

2015 has been a wonderful year, so much has happened and changed in my life. I've met so many beautiful people with whom I've had great experiences that I will always remember. Nature has been my biggest inspiration and I must admit I have completely fallen in love with Australia, like never before. Those who know me joke that I'm never around and always camping. I guess it is true in a way, I try my hardest to be closer to nature and leave the city as much as I can. It started right from the beginning of the year. We spend our New Year camping down the coast with our good friends and when they all decided to go back to their homes, we drove around for another 2 weeks. It is the time I'll never forget and here are just some photographs I took one of those lovely evenings.

Sunset that evening was so magical, I didn't want it to end.

I'm sure you've all already seen Mo, from all my instagram and facebook posts, but if you haven't here he is. I'm so proud to call him my boyfriend. He's the most positive person I've ever met and with him I found peace in my life. Just love and nothing else to say. :)

Anthony is our good friend and his hair!!! I couldn't stop taking photos of him...

Those sunset swims, what can be a better way to end the day?

And half of me, I think it's the only one I have from that night.

Such great company, very open and fun people!

They wrote a song about me and Mo, but I won't tell you what it is. It's a bit too funny!

I told you, I took a few of Anthony.

And gorgeous girls.

Happy vibes xx
